Home Prices in Riverbend Area in London First Quarter 2013

Home sales for the first quarter of 2013 in the Riverbend area of London proved to be quite strong with 14 homes changing hands, at an average price of $505,299 and those took an average 39 days and sold for 97.8% of the asking price, up from 2012.
This neighbourhood in south west London is growing and proving to be a sought after area with all the amenities available.
The recent news about a supposedly real estate slump across Canada has apparently not effected home and condo sales or prices in Riverbend in West London in 2012 with the fact that 34 homes did sell, were on the market for approximately 42 days and sold for 98% of the average asking price of $497,754.
The average asking price for a condo was $352,620 and these took a little longer to sell, but 10 did in this period.
Considering the size of this small but growing enclave of quality homes in South West London, these numbers are encouraging!
If you take a drive through this London neighbourhood, you will admire the variety of home styles as this area is not your cookie cutter row upon row of houses with garages jutting out to offend the eye.
This area is close to many great golf courses, walking and conservation trails and easy access to downtown London.
